Who can take part? Open to startups, tech companies, manufacturers, researchers, and materials innovators with expertise in sealing solutions, battery manufacturing, or advanced materials science.
Goal
Clarios seeks to foster research and tech transfer while encouraging long-term collaboration & implementation. Depending on the outcome, Clarios is open to multiple paths for collaboration, including integrating solutions into its own production lines, outsourcing manufacturing and sealing to external partners. The solution development for this open innovation project is therefore divided into phases:
- Phase 1: Application & Concept Development: Present initial concepts or research insights that address key challenges. Clarios welcomes solutions at various stages of development, from initial concepts and early research to more mature prototypes that demonstrate advanced functionality.
- Phase 2: Collaboration & Proof-of-Concept: During this phase, the finalists will collaborate directly with Clarios to develop a Proof of Concept (PoC) that demonstrates the feasibility of your solution. The PoC should showcase how it can be integrated into Clarios' manufacturing processes.
- After Challenge: Ongoing Partnership: Depending on the maturity of the solutions, different cooperation models and opportunities are available.
