BHW is therefore looking for solutions to build more resilient structures and create closer, lasting relationships with customers so that they can remain a reliable partner throughout many years.

The following gives you an overview of the different phases and events within the Finance Future Innovation Program.
Qualification Phase: until July 30, 2023
In this phase, you will have the opportunity to develop new ideas and solutions or to further develop and apply your existing idea or solution. You can either work alone or together in (interdisciplinary) teams.
You have until July 30, 2023, 11:59 PM CEST to submit your approaches.
Calling the Finalists: August 14, 2023
After the submissions are forwarded to the challenge providers they chose 2 final teams that will enter the final phase of the Finance Future Innovation Program. All teams that submitted will be informed on whether they are finalists or not by mail on August 14, 2023.
Virtual Innovation Bootcamp: August 23, 2023
The final teams will be invited to a digital innovation bootcamp, where they can get valuable input to further develop their approaches. The innovation bootcamp especially lays the foundation for the further collaboration phase and your work with your challenge provider.

Collaboration Phase: until November 2, 2023
Over the following phase the goal is to further advance your approaches in close communication with your challenge provider. The concrete form of the collaboration can vary per challenge and is adapted to the needs of the challenge provider, finalists and the solution.
For this purpose, ekipa will guide the process and the definition of the concrete deliverable until the end of the project. On-top we will organize valuable workshops to further help the finalist in preparation to the final event.
Final Pitch Event in Berlin: November 3, 2023
The final event is the highlight of our innovation program and will be held onsite in Berlin. German Minister of Finance Christian Lindner will participate in the event as part of an exciting keynote.
We further prepare a full program of panel discussions, networking sessions, and, obviously, the finalists will pitch their solutions to the challenge providers!
The winners of every challenge will be selected and honored on this day. There will be two winning teams per challenge. The first place will receive prize money of EUR 4,000. The second place will receive prize money of EUR 1,000.
Furthermore, there will be one social media prize of EUR 500 for one of the final teams of the whole program, which shared its steps and processes the most via the social media channels.
