Construction/Mining must become more efficient & sustainable! IoT and digital services for workers, machines & processes promise to help. Key is a stable, reliable, and independent network connection - ubiquitous connectivity - exactly what proves difficult on large construction/mining sites. Work together with Liebherr to build stable connection to cloud services without local cellular network connectivity using pre-existing devices.
Whats in it for you?
In order to give the developed solutions, the greatest possible appreciation and attention, all solutions of the final teams will be published in a joint publication of all Initiators.
This way, they can be regarded as recommendations for actions or impulses for politics, economy and society and at the same time be pursued further.
In addition, the best team of each Challenge will receive prize money of €3.000. Besides, the most creative and/or active team on social media will win a social media prize of €1000.
Liebherr intends to provide promising teams with the opportunity to further develop their ideas and solutions together. During the elaboration phase, the challenge finalists will work with Liebherr on their approaches. Further collaboration and support programs like the following may result and will be discussed:
- Liebherr could support IP / take over and support patent application
- Translate the idea to a POC in the field (on site)
- Joint partnership for industrialization of the solution by becoming part of Liebherr's digital journey of construction/ mining machines
- Financing of the development (industrialization)
