Future of smart inventory for turbine components
Manufacturers of wind turbines are operating worldwide offering their services far beyond sales - such as maintenance or repair services. However, the turbines are distributed worldwide and are therefore maintained by different providers. Thus, General Electric is looking for digital solutions to provide a digital-mappable inventory of the manufacturer's wind turbine fleet components that have been installed and modified in recent years, as well as a long-term system to have real-time and up-to-date turbine component information.

How to submit your idea
In this tab, you can find all the relevant information for your submission.
For participation in the Innovate2030 SDG 13 Program, we prepared a submission document (called submission template) for you which you need to fill in and upload via the platform until the given submission deadline.
The submission template is based on common requests from the challenge providers we worked with and it will help you to structure your ideas and approaches and to find answers to all relevant questions. Please note that this document will be forwarded to General Electric and is the basis for the selection process of the final teams:
Download the submission template here General Electric Submission Template
In addition to this submission template, you will find specific requirements and important details you need to take into consideration in the tab 'Important Details'. Feel free to complement your submission with prototypes, pitch decks, image and video materials, higher-level concepts, or specific use case-related instruments – simply submit these documents along with the submission template via our platform.
If you prefer working offline: Download the Challenge and all its important details here General Electric Challenge Briefing Document
For start-ups: We are aware that most start-ups have slide decks with all the relevant information. However, if you want to take part you need to upload the submission template as well. If the information in your slide decks is similar to the requested content in the submission template, simply refer to your company's slide deck in the submission template.
Content of the Submission Template:
The submission template covers questions about you as a team (including your knowledge, motivations and skillset), an elevator pitch on your approach, the problem definition, the stakeholder analysis, the degree of innovation, your implementation strategy and your plans or requests for the elaboration phase.
HINT: If you are lacking detailed information to answer all the given questions adequately, feel free to write down direct questions for the challenge provider.
