What is the Ideation Day?

8 Innovators. 2 Teams. 1 Day and one Challenge - this is the frame of our Ideation Day together with interesting partners and companies. Within this format, 8 pre-selected innovators have the chance to work together in 2 teams during the time span of only one day. In interdisciplinary teams, that we put together out of the 8 pre-selected innovators, it is your task to develop feasible and sound concepts within a very limited period. Previously to the day itself we will prepare you in a welcome call and give you some guidance to already dig into the topic. During the ideation day, you will collaborate with experts, that can provide you with all required insights in their business. At the end of the day we will have a short pitch event, where you will present your concepts, models or even prototypes.

How do I apply?

You can apply by filling out our application template and uploading it to our platform until July 1st 2020. After that we will view all applications and inform you about your participation.

Can I apply as a team or how are the teams arranged?

You can only apply by yourself. After we viewed all applications we will also devide you into two teams of four members each. Therefore, we pay attention to your knowledge and backgrounds to create interdisciplinary and professional teams. You will get to know your team members at our Welcome Call, which will take place previously to the Ideation Day.

Is the welcome call mandatory?

Yes, we need you to also attend the welcome call, as it will prepare you for the Ideation Day. Therefore, you should already save the date: July 8th 2020 17:30 (CEST).

Does the Ideation Day take place digitally?

Yes, the Ideation Day and all the preparations like the welcome call will take place digitally.

What technical equipment do I need for the Ideation Day and what tools are being used?

First of all, you only need a laptop or computer and a stable internet connection. We provide you with access to all further collaboaration tools, which we will use, like zoom and mural.

Why should I apply?

By taking part in our Ideation Day you have the chance to work together with experts form EnBW. At the end of the day, the team with the best approach will win a 1.000€ prize money and has the chance to further develop the idea together with EnBW. Moreover, you will get a cerfiticate for your participation.
