With a workforce of around 21,000 employees, we supply electricity, gas, water and energy-related products and services to 5.5 million customers. The German Energiewende has changed our business enormously: 2011 phasing out of nuclear energy, expansion of renewable energies, expansion of electricity and gas grids. EnBW is evolving from an energy provider to an infrastructure partner. The EnBW Innovation Campus has been supporting this transition by developing and scaling new business models outside the core business since 2014.
