Deloitte's Quantum Climate Challenge 2024 – Flood Prediction

Who can participate?
Everyone ist invited to take part in Deloitte’s Quantum Climate Challenge 2024. Excluded from the participation are solely the jury members and anyone involved in writing this challenge.
What happens if I am in the finalists but can not attend the in person final event?
The in-person pitch in front of the judges is a requirement for winning and receiving prize money. Not being part of this events means that you cannot win this challenge.
Will you arrange travel and/or a hotel for the finalists?
No. You are responsible to make travel arrangements by yourself suitable for your personal situation and location. Being a finalist and presenting your solution at the pitch event means your team (or you as an individual) will end up among the TOP 3 winners and thus will receive at least 3000€. This money can be used to cover the travel costs. Please be aware that apart from the prize money you will NOT receive any additional money, even if your travel costs are higher than the prize money you’ll receive.
How do I register?
To participate in this challenge, you need to quickly register on our platform first. After the registration you have the following participation options:
Participate alone
You take part individually by clicking the button ‘Join now’ and then clicking the option ‘Participate alone’ in the following Pop Up. If you change your mind in the course of the Challenge and decide to team up, that’s not a problem. You can find out about your remaining options down below.
Join existing Team
You know you want to participate as a team up but don’t have anyone in mind to participate with? Not a problem! Under the Tab Teams you will find an overview of all the teams who are searching for members. Request to join if your skills match what they are looking for and good luck! You can apply for more than one team until you find the right one.
Participate as a Team
You already have people you want to participate with? Great! One of you has to klick the button ’Join now’ and choose ‘Found your own team’. If you have already all the members you need, ignore the last question ‘What's the need of your team?’ in the Pop Up. If you are open to let new members in, fill it out so your team is open for requests.
The rest of the team has to register first themselves on the platform and then request to join the team you founded in the Tab ‘Teams’. It doesn’t matter which team member founds the team, every team member is equal and there is no leading position.
