Overview of the rules
- Every participant must agree to the terms and conditions of participation as published here.
- Please have a detailed check on the Tab “Legal”. Here you can find all information about the handling of the rights and obligations.
- Participation is possible as an individual or a team.
- Submission Guidelines: participants must submit their idea by the deadline of 28.04.2024 at 23:59 (CEST), via the upload function on the ekipa platform. The submission of the idea must be in a document in pdf format.
- The jury will choose the TOP 3 submitted solutions as finalists. The finalists are invited to present their solutions at the Deloitte event location in Düsseldorf on May 22, 2024 in front of the jury. All finalists presenting their solutions at the pitch event are eligible for a cash prize.
- The pitches will be 20 minutes long followed by a 10 minute Q&A session.
- Based on the submitted solution, the pitch and the answers given during the Q&A session, the winners are chosen by the jury and will be announced at a ceremony on the pitch day.
- All communication within the challenge will be in English.
Access to Quantum Computers and Quantum Simulators
You get access to the data provided by the Wupperverband, access to a NVIDIA A100 GPUs, and D-Wave Quantum Annealers as well as IBM Credits and AWS credits to be used for Simulators and Hardware Access.
Access to Climate Expert Key-Note
You get access to a Key-Note by climate expert Dr. Stephanie Herring from NOAA. You can either participate live on the 21st of March 10:00-10:30 MT/12:00-12:30 EST/17:00-17:30 CET or watch the recording afterwards. Don’t miss out on insides into the effect of climate change on extreme events.
Access will be available after registering as a participant or team via a then added Tab "Confidential".
