Air is our vital source of life, so how can we detect, prevent, and eliminate air pollutants to make home a safer space for consumers? Qualification-phase: until the 06th of April 2021
After starting the challenge, you have time until the 06th of April 2021 11:59 pm CET to work on and submit your ideas, concepts and sketches via our online platform.
During this period, you can decide to either fight alone, build a team, or find partners/potential team members through our platform. Find more information via our How-to tab.
In order to best support you in your idea generation, we also offer you two free and optional Design Thinking workshops throughout the qualification phase, where we provide you with Design Thinking methods and also connect you with other interested parties from all over the world.

After the deadline tesa will evaluate all submission and all participants will be notified via Email latest at the 14th of April 2021 whether they will move on to the next phase.
Interview phase: 26th and 27th of April 2021
The best 8 teams will enter the interview phase of the Challenge. In this phase, you will be able to answer open questions and make the legal arrangements if necessary, in a joint discussion with tesa.
Calling the finalists: by the 29th of April 2021
Latest at this date, tesa will have decided which participants will reach the elaboration phase of the challenge.
A maximum of 6 teams will be selected.
Elaboration-phase: 29th of April till the 07th of June 2021
Based on a concrete Feedback from tesa, you will get the chance to develop your approach to a more detailed solution or even a first prototype. You have time to do so and submit your solution via our platform until 11:59 pm CET on the 07th of June 2021.
Announcement of the Winners: 11th of June 2021
To conclude the Challenge, tesa will announce the winners. In addition, a total of €7,500 in prize money is being shared among the best three teams.
