Qualification-phase: until the 04th of July 2021

With the start of the challenge, you have time until the 04th of July 2021 11:59 pm CET to work on and submit your ideas, concepts, and sketches via our online platform.

During this period, you can decide to either fight alone, build a team, or find partners/potential team members through our platform. Find more information in our How-to tab.

During the qualification phase we offer free, digital and interactive Design Thinking Workshops in which you will be supported by innovation experts and their methods.

The announcements of the qualified teams will take place latest on the 07th of July via email.

Bootcamp and interim presentation – 13th & 14th of July (tbd)

The qualified finalists will be invited by Samsung for a (digital) bootcamp. If it is possible to conduct an event onside, the costs for travel and accommodation will be covered.

At the event, you will attend various courses and workshops on the topic of Technology, Entrepreneurship and Social Impact and meet exciting experts and thought leaders to lay the foundations for the further course of the elaboration phase.

To conclude you will present your approach to Samsung and a jury. Afterwards, the best five teams will be selected as finalists and advance to the elaboration phase.

Elaboration-phase: 15th of July until the end of August (tbd)

Following the bootcamp, you will, based on a concrete feedback and mission, develop your idea and business case to a more detailed solution and a great pitch that will be held at the final event.

The concrete deadline to submit your documents will be published during the qualification phase.

Let´s Pitch and final event: End of August (tbd)

To conclude the Challenge, you will present your final solution in front of Samsung and a jury to define the three winners of our Solve for Tomorrow: Tech for Your Future Challenge.

The winners of the Challenge will be given the opportunity to further develop their business case in the following Solve for Tomorrow - IMPACT-phase @ Samsung.

In addition to a total of € 22.500 in prize money being shared among the best three teams if they enter the IMPACT-phase.

IMPACT-Phase

The three winning teams will move onto a six months IMPACT-Phase where they will work together with Samsung, ekipa and a technical partner to develop a Prototype, build a business plan and start the process of founding.
