Finalists of the Innovate 2030 - SDG 11 Programm
In the course of the Innovate 2030 - SDG 11 programm, 237 submissions by almost 1.000 innovative future minds from 65 countries around the world were handed in. 23 teams were selected with their project plans to work out their ideas and concepts over the next few weeks based on seven challenges.
Finalists for Urban Green Recovery
One of the challenges was aligned by the State of Rwanda. The following teams are selected to participate in the next steps of the innovation challenge:
- RefresherBoxx
App driven-Washing machine that works without any water or any chemicals. It works with a combination of physical methods and only needs energy. - Ecolution
The innovative green roof is called “Green Tiles”; a detachable garden that can be attached easily in local informal settlements.
