Qualification phase: Deadline June 16, 2025
With the start of the challenge, you'll have time to work on your idea, concept, or sketches. The deadline for the submission is June 16, 2025 - 11.59 pm CEST. You can submit your approaches via this platform.
After the deadline the submitted ideas will be handed over to Samsung, who will choose the 10 half finalists.
The announcement of the 10 half-finalists, who will move onto the next round of the challenge and participate in the Idea camp will take place until June 26th 2025 at the latest.
Idea camp: July 14 - July 15, 2025
The finalists will be invited by Samsung for the Idea camp. The costs for travel and accommodation will be covered. If you submit your idea, please make sure to block July 14 & 15 in case you are chosen as a half-finalist in the challenge. In preparation for the idea camp we will host a digital workshop on July 3 starting at 3:00pm CEST. Please make sure to mark this date in your calendars as well.
At the event, you will attend various courses and workshops on the topics of Sports, Health, AI, Entrepreneurship, and Social Impact and meet exciting experts and thought leaders to lay the foundations for the further course of the elaboration phase.
To conclude you will present your approach to Samsung and an independent jury. Afterward, the best five teams will be selected as finalists and advance to the elaboration phase.
Elaboration phase: July 17 - September 03, 2025
Following the feedback received at the idea camp, you will refine your idea and business case, and develop a great pitch for the final event.
The deadline for submitting your documents for the final pitch event will be published during the qualification phase.

To conclude the Challenge, you will present your final solution to Samsung and a jury to define the three winners of our Solve for Tomorrow – Sport & Tech Challenge.
The winners will have the opportunity to further develop their business case in the Solve for Tomorrow - IMPACT-phase @ Samsung.
In addition, a total of € 22,500 in prize money is divided among the best three teams, if they enter the IMPACT-phase.
IMPACT-Phase
The three winning teams will move onto the IMPACT-Phase, where they will work together with Samsung, and a technical partner to develop a prototype and a business plan, starting the founding process.
The phase will conclude with a final Demo Day at the German House during the 2026 Winter Olympics, offering a unique opportunity to present their solutions on the global stage.
