Prize Money
Of course, all winners deserve prices. That´s why, prize money totaling € 22,500 will be distributed between the winning teams, so that you can continue to work on your solutions. The division between the three best teams or participants is as follows:
- 1st place: €10,000
- 2nd place: €7,500
- 3rd place: €5,000
Please note that the payment of the prize money is linked to participation in the IMPACT phase.
Product Prizes
After the qualification phase, one participant who has registered and taken part in the challenge will be selected to win a 500€ voucher for the Samsung Online Shop
In addition, Samsung will reward each finalist with Samsung products or vouchers. Below are the established product categories:
- The 10 semi-finalists will receive as part of the idea camp: USB-C Thumb Drive per participant
- The 5 finalists will also receive at the start of the elaboration phase: Samsung Store Voucher 2500,00€ per team
Final Pitch at IFA 2025 – Present Your Innovation on a Global Stage
As part of this exciting journey, the most impactful ideas will be showcased at the grand finale during IFA 2025 in Berlin — one of the world’s leading technology events. Here, finalists will have the opportunity to present their solutions to an international audience of experts, innovators, and industry leaders.
Olympic Winter Games 2026
As the final highlight of the project, the best final teams will have the opportunity to showcase their solutions in the context of the 2026 Winter Olympics. The best teams will be invited to the German Olympic House and and are given the stage to present their results to an exciting audience.
Accelerator
To achieve long-term impact and to establish not just ideas but innovation, the Challenge is only the starting point.
The top three winning teams will be invited to join the Samsung accelerator: the IMPACT Phase.
You´ll recieve 6 months of support from Samsung and its technologies, technical coaching partners, external experts and mentors to further develop your approaches and turn your ideas into reality.
