Qualification phase: until the 30th of June 2021
With the start of the challenge, you have time until the 30th of June 2021 11:59 pm CET to work on and submit your ideas, concepts and sketches via our online platform.
During this period, you can decide to either go it alone, build a team, or find partners/potential team members through our platform. Find more information in our How to tab.
To support you during your ideation as well as the team-building process during the qualification phase we offer one free, digital and interactive Design Thinking Workshops in which you will be supported by innovation experts and their methods.

The announcement of the qualified teams will take place at the latest on the 16th of July via email.
Interview phase: 26th to 29th of July 2021
The best 8-10 teams will enter the interview phase of the Challenge. In this phase, you will be able to answer open questions and make the legal arrangements if necessary, in a joint discussion with medac.
Calling the finalists: by the 30th of July 2021
By this date at the latest, medac will have decided which participants will reach the elaboration phase of the challenge. A maximum of 6-8 teams will be selected.
Elaboration-phase and bootcamp: 3rd of August until the 04th of October 2021 with Bootcamp mid of August (tbd)
Based on a first feedback and the key areas to work on, you will start the elaboration phase and prepare yourself for the digital bootcamp during August. At this event, you will have the chance to get further input, collaborate with experts from medac and beyond, and get an individual milestone plan and work assignment to elaborate your approaches until the final event.
Announcement of the Winners: 11th of October 2021
To conclude the challenge, you will have the chance to present your idea to a jury of experts and the Management Board of medac at the final event of the Challenge.
