Bertrandt is seeking an AI-powered Engineering Knowledge Copilot that captures scattered and tacit engineering know-how and makes it instantly accessible in daily work. The goal is to preserve expert knowledge, accelerate onboarding of young engineers and support engineers during design and project tasks, validated in a Venture Client PoC.

Bertrandt is an engineering services company active in vehicle development. Its engineers support customers across the automotive value chain, working in areas such as CAD design/construction and project engineering, often inside customer systems and processes.
The company operates internationally, with engineering teams in Germany and a growing international presence, where it is building up teams that include many young engineers recruited directly from university. Preserving and sharing engineering know-how across these teams is a strategic priority.
Bertrandt's AI Team
Bertrandt has a dedicated internal team working on AI. This team will be involved early in the project - for example at the PoC kick-off - and will collaborate closely with the selected solution provider on data access, integration into Bertrandt's IT and cloud environment, and security and compliance alignment. A key goal is that the team can continue to operate and further develop the copilot after the PoC, keeping the solution vendor-independent.
