Qualification Phase: July 25 - October 4, 2022
The launch of the AI & Data Science innovation program and the respective challenges will take place on July 25, 2022. From this day on, you will have the opportunity to develop new ideas and solutions or to further develop your existing idea or solution. You can either work alone or together in (interdisciplinary) teams.
You have until October 4, 11:59 pm CEST to submit your approaches within the program specific submission template.
Calling the Finalists: October 10, 2022
This is the announcement of the final teams that will enter the final phase of the AI & Data Science program: The innovation bootcamp and the elaboration phase. All teams will be informed by mail.
Virtual Innovation Bootcamp: October 20, 2022
The final teams will be invited to a digital innovation bootcamp, where they can get valuable input to further develop their ideas and approaches together with representatives from business and science.
For the best possible experience and the greatest added value, the innovation bootcamp combines networking sessions and coaching sessions between the final teams and the representatives of each challenge.
The finalists will be invited to join a virtual briefing meeting in advance of the innovation bootcamp. The date will be announced soon.
Elaboration Phase: October 21, 2022 - December 6, 2022
With the help of the input from the innovation bootcamp and the new knowledge that will be acquired up to then, you can now develop and improve your idea.
For this purpose, all finalists will receive a specific milestone plan that includes three deliverables (Pitch deck, publication text, concept for challenge giver). The program partners will support the participating teams in this phase.
Virtual Final Event: December 7, 2022
The final event is the highlight of every innovation program. We prepare a full program of keynote speeches by innovation experts, networking sessions and, obviously, the finalists will pitch their solutions to the challenge provider and an expert jury.
The winners of every challenge will be selected and honored on this day. There will be two winning teams per challenge. The first place will receive a price money of EUR 4,000 and the second winner will win a prize of EUR 1,000.
Furthermore, there will be one social media prize of EUR 500 for one of the final teams of the whole program, that shared its steps and processes the most via the social media channels.
Paper: January 2023
As a conclusion of the AI & Data Science program, we will produce a publication presenting the solutions of the final teams. Herewith, we want to initiate and promote discussions about AI & Data Science in society, business, and politics.
