Pension Management
In the Netherlands, pension management is a highly regulated and complex process that requires significant resources to manage effectively.
As one of the largest pension providers, APG has a responsibility to inform 4.7 million people in the Netherlands about their pension according to their individual needs, being aware of language barriers as well as different age- and educational groups. However, personalizing pension information with the given resources is a significant challenge.
By exploring the use of generative AI, our objective is to deliver personalized and regulatory compliant pension information to clients, including details about their pension plan, as well as insights on how potential life events may impact their pension.
Challenge & Key Questions
Join APG in taking the (Dutch) pension system to new heights:
- In what ways can generative AI, such as ChatGPT, enhance the Customer Experience of APG as a pension administrator/ pension fund by delivering personalized pension information that meets regulatory requirements as well as the expectations of its pension participants, and reduces the need for manual content creation?
The ultimate objective is to personalize the information and offers provided on an individual level but you can use personas to build-up your approach in the first phase (e. g. 25-year-old student who just starts his first job; 72-year-old pensioner receiving monthly pension).
Goal & Target Group
We do not need an up-and-running solution with the first submission. We welcome all submissions, even at the idea/concept stage, to get an idea of how powerful generative AI can be in a regulated domain.
To build a functional solution step-by-step, the teams will have direct sparring opportunities with APG during the challenge to jointly refine and improve.
If your solution meets a high level of quality, APG is open for follow-up partnerships like potential licensing opportunities or network access after the Challenge.
This presents a unique opportunity for students, researchers, young professionals and also startups/companies to showcase their innovative solutions and shape the pension sector.
