Build your prototype with BatteryOne – and don't start from scratch. Wacker Neuson is searching for partners to co-develop new applications powered by its robust, swappable BatteryOne system. The goal is to validate a real-world use case, build a working prototype and explore commercially scalable partnership opportunities. Wacker Neuson supports partners with BatteryOne hardware, engineering expertise and access to its industrial network - enabling rapid prototyping and a clear pathway toward joint commercialization.
Who can participate?
All innovators capable of developing functional hardware prototypes - including startups, scaleups, established product companies, research labs, technical university teams or independent engineering groups.
How to submit
Process
To participate solution providers, submit two elements via the ekipa platform:
1. Fill out fixed questions
After joining the challenge, applicants complete a short set of mandatory questions. These questions ensure comparability across all submissions and allow Wacker Neuson to assess solution fit quickly and fairly. You will find the fixed questions in your workspace under "Submission" once you registered for the challenge.
2. Upload Pitch Deck (PDF)
Applicants upload a concise pitch deck providing additional depth.
The deck may include:
- product overview & key features
- differentiation vs. existing solutions
- initial prototype idea using BatteryOne (integration concept, assumptions, required components)
- expected functional and commercial benefits
- initial commercialization logic and potential business model
- references, prior prototypes, pilots or customer use
