Digital & Sustainable Solutions for Future Logistics and Transportation of Goods

Let's start and innovate together with Bosch to create a more efficient, more sustainable, more intelligent, more exciting and safer logistic industry.

The Mobility of Goods causes many emissions and many of them are due to inefficiencies along the supply chain. Closing the digitalization-gap and building novel solutions for the logistics industry can help. Preventing empty journeys, enabling intermodal and intelligent logistics, exploiting data-based opportunities, or keeping people enthusiastic and as safe as goods - there is a lot to do.

The launch of the Innovate2030 - SDG9 innovation program will take place on May 02, 2022.

From this day on you will have the opportunity to choose a Challenge and develop new ideas and solutions or further develop your existing idea or solution. You can either work on your own or work together in (interdisciplinary) teams.

You have until July 18th, 2022, 11:59 pm CET to submit your approaches via the Challenge-Specific Submission Template that you can find on the respective Challenge Landing Page.

Calling the Finalists: 25th July 2022

Here the best teams will be announced, which will enter the elaboration phase and thus also the final phase of the Innovation2030 Program.

Two teams per Challenge will enter the elaboration phase for the Challenges.

(Virtual) Innovation Bootcamp: 29th July 2022

The best teams will be invited to a digital innovation bootcamp where they can get valuable input to further develop their ideas and approaches together with representatives from politics, business, and science.

For the best possible experience and the greatest added value, the innovation bootcamp combines networking sessions between all parties, different workshops on specific topics and coaching sessions between the final teams with the representatives of each Challenge and company as well as innovation coaches from Impact Week, a non-profit program that fosters innovation and entrepreneurship.

The finalists will be invited to join one virtual briefing meeting upfront to the innovation bootcamp, which will take place between 25th and 28th July.

Elaboration phase: 29th July 2022 – 12th September 2022

With the help of the input from the innovation bootcamp and the new knowledge that will be acquired up to then, you can now develop and improve your idea.

For this purpose, all finalists will receive a specific milestone plan that includes three deliverables (Pitch Deck, Publication text, Concept for Challenge giver). The program partners and the coaching partners from Impact Week will provide support to the participating teams through this phase.

(Virtual) Final event: 16th September 2022

On this day, the finalists will pitch their solutions in front of a jury of high-ranking representatives from business, science, and politics. In addition to the pitches, the event will also feature keynote speeches by innovation experts. Also, the winners of the Challenge will be selected and honored on this day. There will be one winning team per Challenge which is going to be awarded 3.000€ prize money each. Finally, in order to honor all the effort and encourage interdisciplinary exchange, an awards ceremony followed by a digital “get-together” is planned.

Publication: October 2022

To stimulate discourse in politics, economy, and society we will publish the results of all final teams in a large publication. The winning teams of the Challenge will be highlighted once again with their solutions.

In November 2022 we will launch the next focus area of the Innnovate2030 program – Stay tuned to find out more about the next Challenges.
