EU and UNFCCC

The collaboration with EU/UNFCCC and the innovate2030 partner "digilab" enables close cooperation with policymakers and municipal leaders from cities of the Global Innovation Hub Initiative of the UNFCCC.

The aim is to closely involve cities from Europe (Bonn, Amsterdam, Linköping) and cities from Africa or Latin America (Dakar, Kampala, Kigali and Sao Paolo) in the Challenges and to involve them in the elaboration of the needs-based solutions.

The goal of the city collaboration is to:

  • Ensure that the Challenges and elaborated solutions address real (local) needs and problems
  • Enable long-term adoption of the most innovative digital solutions identified through the competition.
