These questions should definitely be addressed as part of your concept:
- Who are you and your team/company? What roles do you each play in developing smart solutions for retail?
- Have you had prior successes in this field? Please share relevant achievements or experience to help us assess your capabilities.
- Solution & Employee Impact: How does your solution specifically improve the daily working conditions of retail employees? Provide details on how your innovation contributes to a better Employee Journey and helps retailers to elevate their business.
- Solution & Wanzl Fit: How does your proposed solution align with and enhance Wanzl’s existing vision and value proposition?
- Scalability & Implementation: How scalable is your solution across different retail environments within the Food & Near Food sectors? What are the key considerations for implementing your solution in various store formats?
- Partnership Potential: How could a potential partnership with Wanzl be structured to ensure mutual benefit and successful collaboration?
Guidelines and Specifications
- Innovation and Value: Introduce smart physical systems. Design your solution with retail employees in mind, ensuring it is intuitive and directly addresses daily challenges.
- Wanzl Fit: Ensure your solution can be scaled across various store formats and integrates seamlessly with Wanzl’s existing products, such as shopping trolleys, shelving systems, and customer guidance technologies. The solution should enhance Wanzl's ability to deliver comprehensive retail environments.
- Feasibility and Practicality: Develop a solution that is realistic to implement within current technological and operational constraints.
- Exclusion criteria: Pure software solutions, checkout process innovations, and RFID-based technologies are not within the scope of this challenge.
