Who is ekipa?
ekipa is a full-service provider for innovation challenges with the digital generation. We bring together digital natives with the long experience of established companies and organizations. This results in creative solutions for the great challenges of our society. Our current ekipa crowd consists of more than 10,000 users, among them students, graduates and also young founders. In addition to cooperation’s with nearly 80 universities throughout Europe, which integrate the challenges into the university context, our young company from Frankfurt has more than 350 startups from business incubators and hubs in its network. Ekipa thus drives the networking between the young, digital generation and the big companies, opens up unused potential and creates added value for both parties.

How do I participate?

In general for the first phase, which runs until February 08th, you have to briefly describe your idea in a track-specific submission template. If you want, you can supplement that with additional documents - such as more detailed concepts or drawings. You can find all information about the submission in the "submission" Tab.

What if I want to work on more than one of the tracks?
Thats possible, go for it!
How many participants can qualify for the 2nd round?
Evonik will pick 6 teams that advance to the elaboration phase.
How does the announcement of the winning ideas take place?
At the end of the qualification phase we will notify the finalists via mail and provide them with a detailed feedback from Evonik.
The winning teams will also be notified via e-mail at the end of the project and the contact will be handed over to the experts at Evonik to discuss the next steps.
How is the Reward distributed amongst the winners?
The rewards involve a prize pool of 7.000€ that will be distributed to the winning teams as follows:
1st Place: 4.000€
2nd Place: 2.000€
3rd Place: 1.000€
