Driving Innovation with Speech-based Conversational AI

LBBW is calling on AI experts to develop a proof of concept showcasing that speech-based conversational AI can enhance verbal communication in complex B2B environments. Starting with real estate financing, help us explore how AI-driven spoken dialogue systems can streamline decision-making and stakeholder interactions. Successful participants will gain access to co-creation opportunities, research collaborations, or long-term partnerships with LBBW. 

Who can take part 
Open to researchers, AI specialists, startups, tech companies and all other innovators who are focused on NLP, LLMs, conversational AI, or the digital transformation of financial services.

How to submit 

  1. Application template (mandatory): A standard template is available. The template will help you structure your approaches. Download the Application Template here.  
  2. Optional Content: You can try to stand out and also supplement your submission with prototypes, image and video materials, or other concepts or visual elements. 

These questions should be answered as part of your concept: 

Team & Expertise: 

  • Who are you, and who is your team/company? 
  • What qualifications and relevant experience do you bring in conversational and speech-based AI, NLP, or LLM development?  
  • Have you already achieved success in similar fields, or can you highlight any case studies or references that demonstrate your expertise? Do you have previous experience in the real estate industry? 

Concept: 

  • Which NLP/LLM models are best suited for supporting spoken dialogue in real estate financing? Provide a recommendation on the most suitable model and explain its feasibility in a real-world context.  
  • Outline how your concept will improve spoken communication between bank employees, developers, and investors. Specify the chosen scenario and describe how your AI-driven dialogue system works? 
  • FAQ: What questions could LBBW have and how would you answer them? 

Next steps & Partnership: 

  • How will the model be developed and trained using real-world data? Describe how it will be adapted for international real estate financing. 
  • How do you envision a long-term partnership with LBBW and what are the potential business outcomes? 

Evaluation criteria 

  • Scope
    The proposed approach must align with the European market.
  • (First) Experience working with B2B partners
    Experience with legal process while partnering with big B2B partners like LBBW is a positive asset.
  • Regulatory requirements
    The approach should be compliant with relevant regulatory and legal requirements.
