The following gives you an overview of the different phases and events within the Finance Future Innovation Program.
Qualification Phase: until October 16, 2023
In this phase, you will have the opportunity to develop your solution or to further develop and apply your existing idea or solution.
You have until October 16, 2023, 11:59 PM CEST to submit your approaches.
Calling the Finalists: October 19, 2023
After the submissions are forwarded to the challenge providers, they will pick a shortlist of potential final teams that will enter the interview phase .All teams that submitted will be informed on whether they are finalists or not by mail on October 19, 2023.
Challenge Interviews: October 23+24, 2023
The chosen teams will be invited to digital interviews with Hamburg Commercial Bank to further exchange details of their solution and ideas about future collaboration.
Please make sure to be available for those two days.
Final Selection: October 26, 2023
After the Challenge Interviews are over, Hamburg Commerical Bank will set the two final teams that will have the chance to take part in the Final Pitch Event in Berlin. Please check your inbox on October 26!
Final Pitch Event in Berlin: November 3, 2023
The final event is the highlight of our innovation program and will be held onsite in Berlin. German Minister of Finance Christian Lindner will participate in the event as part of an exciting keynote.
We further prepare a full program of panel discussions, networking sessions, and, obviously, the finalists will pitch their solutions to the challenge providers!
The winners of every challenge will be selected and honored on this day. There will be two winning teams per challenge. The first place will receive prize money of EUR 4,000. The second place will receive prize money of EUR 1,000.
Furthermore, there will be one social media prize of EUR 500 for one of the final teams of the whole program, which shared its steps and processes the most via the social media channels.
