Exclusive access to Quantum Hardware
As a registered participant you get exclusive access to a 7 IBM Quantum Computer that you can use to run and test solutions and if selected as one of the TOP 5 finalists you get exclusive access to a 16 IBM System. Developing a solution for other types of quantum hardware, e.g. Annealers, is also encouraged.

March 1: Kick-Off of the Quantum Climate Challenge 2022

March 13: Deadline for the handing in of questions for the Q&A Session
All participants will be given the opportunity to participate in a digital Q&A Session. Questions for the Q&A Session can be handed in until March 13 at 23:59 (CET) via this email: deloitte-quantum@ekipa.de
Technical issues can be placed at any time via the chat on this platform to your right or via email.
March 15: Q&A Session
The Q&A Session will take place on March 15 from 14:00-15:00 (CET). Participation in the Q&A Session is not mandatory but advised. You will receive the link to the online session after your registration.
April 24: Submission Deadline
Your submission must be handed in in English and as one document in pdf format, optionally including clickable links before April 24, 23:59 (CEST).
May 9: Announcement of finalists
The announcement of the TOP 5 finalists will take place on May 9. All TOP 5 teams will be informed via email.
May 20: Pitch event in Berlin
The TOP 5 finalists are invited to present their solutions during a pitch event on May 20 in Berlin (Amplifier Berlin) to our expert jury who will announce the winners of the challenge at the event. All finalists presenting are eligible for a cash prize.
